March 28, 2008 Julio Bartholomeu Diaz has a daily routine. Every night, the 31-year-old social worker ends his hour-long underground transpose to the Bronx one stop early, only so he can feed at his favorite dining car.
But one night last days, as Bartholomeu Dias trod off the No. 6 train and onto a nearly empty platform, his eventide occupied an unexpected twist.
He was taking the air toward the steps when an adolescent male child neared and drew extinct a tongue.
“He wants my money, so I merely yielded him my billfold and said him, ‘Here you go,’” Bartholomeu Dias tells.
As the teen started out to take the air away, Bartholomeu Diaz stated him, “Hey, wait a minute. You buried something. If you’re locomoting to be plucking people for the balance of the night, you could as good use up my coat to maintain you affectionate.”
The manque robber appeared at his manque dupe, “like what’s locomoting on here?” Dias states. “He inquired me, ‘Why are you making this?’”
Bartholomeu Diaz responded: “If you’re leaving to lay on the line your exemption for a few dollar bills, then I guess you must genuinely need the money. I mean, all I precious to do was get dinner party and if you genuinely want to fall in me … hey, you’re more than welcome.

Bartholomeu Dias tells he and the teen travelled into the buffet car and Sabbatum in a cubicle.
“The managing director comes up by, the dishwashing machines come up by, the servers come up by to state hi,” Bartholomeu Dias states. “The nipper was like, ‘You cognize everybody here. Do you own this place?’”

Bartholomeu Diaz states he inquired for something in return - the teen’s knife - “and he yielded it to me.”
Later, when Dias stated his mother what occurred, she emphasised, “You’re the character of nestling that if somebody enquired you for the clip, you afforded them your watch.”
